Terms of Service
The rules that apply when you rent, trade or pass items on here.
These terms apply when you use Klair. You accept them by creating an account or making a reservation. They never limit mandatory consumer rights under EU law.
1. The platform and your account
Klair provides listings, search, reservations, messaging and social features. You are responsible for what happens under your account, and the information you give must be accurate.
2. The agreement is between the two of you
A reservation is an agreement between the borrower and the owner. Klair is not a party to it and owns nothing listed here. Once confirmed, the description, price, deposit and pickup window shown at confirmation are binding for both sides. The same applies to trades and items given away.
3. Requests
Owners choose whether people reserve instantly or ask first. A pending request holds the item until the owner answers. Klair does not handle money. Anything you agree to pay is settled directly between you.
4. Handover and damage
Pickup and return happen within the agreed window. Look the item over together. The borrower returns it in the condition it was handed over in, normal wear excepted. Disputes are settled between the two of you, with Klair support as mediator.
5. Community rules
Content must be lawful, relevant and respectful. No harassment, no misleading listings, no spam, nothing that infringes the rights of others. Reviews may only describe reservations that actually happened.
6. Prohibited use
You may not lend out something you borrowed, use it commercially where the listing forbids it, or use it in violation of the law. Equipment that requires a licence may only be operated by someone who holds one. Moving a reservation off the platform to avoid its protections is not allowed.
7. Liability
Klair does not insure anything and is not liable for indirect losses arising from a reservation. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
